The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Big D Climb

The Dallas TowerRunners team raised money for a very important cause, through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Big D Climb: finding better treatments and cures for blood cancers so patients can live better, longer lives.

Our goal was to help fund the LLS’s mission to find a cure for blood cancers.

We climbed the 70 stories of The Bank of America Plaza in downtown Dallas on Saturday, January 28, 2017.

A big thanks to all donors who helped us raise money for cancer research. The donations have a tangible impact on finding cure. One of the examples is Kymriah a new, cutting-edge gene therapy that reprograms a patient’s immune system to find and kill cancer cells. LLS invested more than $20 million in research for this groundbreaking advance over the past two decades. LLS is now funding the next generation of CAR-T therapy, the method anticipated to be useful in many different blood cancers, and perhaps even other major tumors that are difficult to treat such as brain, lung and colon cancer.

Thank you for your support which makes a difference in the lives of thousands of patients battling cancers. I really appreciate your generosity!!

Sincerely,
Agnieszka
